Roger Hurlburt

Roger Hurlburt forged two careers within the arts, one as a journalist, the other as an academician. For two decades he was Entertainment Features Writer and Film Reviewer at the Sun-Sentinel in Fort Lauderdale. Today, he still writes freelance articles, and continues teaching Art History at Florida Atlantic University, specializing in Medieval and Renaissance Art and Architecture and most all aspects of Western Civilization. Ever present is his mantra that art simply is "life enhancing" and best discussed within both humanistic terms and the notion that visual tastes indeed are individual - and one need only to look.
